Sammy Lai is a dedicated art educator and practising artist with a strong passion for nurturing creativity in children. He holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art, UAL, and an MA in Visual Art from Hong Kong Baptist University, where he was awarded a UGC scholarship. With extensive experience teaching visual arts in primary schools, he has worked closely with young learners, guiding them in their artistic exploration. As an artist, his work has been exhibited in both Hong Kong and the UK, showcasing his vibrant and dynamic approach to colour, nature, and creativity. This professional artistic background enriches his teaching, allowing him to inspire children with real-world artistic insights. Sammy believes that art is more than just a creative outlet—it is a powerful tool for self-discovery and creative development. His teaching philosophy centres on "learning through play," creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment where children feel encouraged to experiment, express themselves freely, and build confidence. Through engaging art activities, he helps children develop essential skills such as observation, concentration, and imagination, while also discovering their unique artistic voices.
